Shannon McCormick serves as Operations Manager for Capitol Partners. In her role she assists Derrell Cohoon and Jesse McCormick with backend operations including: accounting, marketing, research, and scheduling. Shannon also serves as the Executive Vice President for LCTA – The Internet & Television Association. For 4 years Shannon has been working in the cable and telecommunications industry and plans a 3 day trade show and conference for 250+ executives, government relations, and operations managers each year in New Orleans. She also runs the day-to-day operations of the association which comprises of 9 cable operating systems, associate members and an 11 person Board of Directors. Prior to her role at Capitol Partners McCormick worked in Economic Development for 5 years. She served as the Director of Business Retention and Expansion at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) where she helped over 200 businesses a year expand their services and operations. Before working at BRAC she worked as an International Business Consultant for the Louisiana Business & Technology Center at Louisiana State University and became a Certified Global Business Professional in her role there. In her role at LSU McCormick also worked with startups and small businesses to start and grow their businesses. McCormick completed her Six Sigma Green Belt training in 2014. McCormick, a certified manager of impact systems earned her B.S.; Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Economics from Auburn University in 2009.
